- Telstar Menumaker V1.0:
-
- With this utility it is possible to make a mouse-controlled BOOTMENU
- with 72 !!!!! files.
- In the boot the menu uses the standard preferences. (60 Characters and a
- blue/orange screen)
- The STARTUP-SEQUENCE uses the preferences on disk.
-
- Manual Telstar Menumaker V1.0:
-
- Fill in the mames in this order:
- Name01 Name25 Name49
- Name02 Name26 Name30
- Name03 Name27 Name31
- til til til
- Name24 Name48 Name72
-
- The namelist stops when it reaches an empty 'Name'
-
- The name that you use in the menu must be the same as the name of the
- program on the disk.
-
- The maximum length of the name is 15 characters and it must be written
- without spaces.
-
- The box in front of the name means:
- Empty Load 'Name'
- The program can be started directly from the CLI
- Filled Execute 'Name'
- The program is an ASCII-file
- This file contains a serie of commands to start
- the program.
-
- The Telstar Menumaker writes down the following files:
- 'MENU' This is the menu and it can be placed in the boot with
- the TJC-Bootleg program. (A nice place is in block 2-6)
- The menu file can also be started directly from the CLI
- TJC-Bootleg can be found on ANC-17
- 'LOAD' This loads the files and must be placed first in the
- startup-sequence when you use thhe boot to start the
- menu. Otherwise it must be placed after menu in the
- startup-sequence.
-
- The CLI-command 'EXECUTE' must be in the C-Directory. This is neccessary
- for when you use the 'EXECUTE' mode.
- The CLI-command 'RUN' must also be in the C-directory. This is for the
- 'LOAD' routine.
-
- Example:
- 'SEKA' This file canbe started directly.
- In the menu you must fill in 'Seka2.0' with an
- empty box in front.
- The name of the file on disk is also 'Seka2.0'
- 'Diskmaster' Diskmaster is crunched with 'CrSave' and has
- to be started with an ASCII-file.
- In the menu you must fill in 'Diskmaster' with
- a filled box in front.
- The ASCII-file on disk is also named 'Diskmaster'
- and contains the following line:
- 'CrLoad DM'
- 'DM' is the name of the crunched diskmaster file
- which has to be named differently because the
- ASCII-file already has the name 'Diskmaster'.
